Pataphysical Studios is a collective of artists, engineers, teachers and students based in Mill Valley.

We get together every Saturday afternoon to build the Pataphysical Slot Machine, using a variety of materials: wood, clay, paints, LEDs, sound chips, motors — as well as Arduino, the interactive platform which holds it all together.

Our group includes veterans from a wide range of organizations: Apple Computer, Bill Graham Presents, Black Rock Arts, California College of the Arts, Fandor, Industrial Light and Magic, Jim Henson Company, Rex Foundation, Stanford University, UC Berkeley, Whole Earth Catalog, Wikimedia Foundation and Wired Magazine.

New contributors are welcome: come see us at our next community events, or email us: info@pataphysics.us. And be sure to sign up for our email updates.

This is simply fantastic! Thank you all-
I am fascinated with how ‘pataphysics has come through time. around 20 years ago, after graduating from Rutgers the State University of New Jersey with a Major in English and a Minor in Philosophy I began to make notes for a book on philosophy. At 50 although I have built a writing career I have finally come back to that “book” which is tentatively entitled “Towards a Manifesto of Pataphysics” which is a 50 page a-scientific rant. I would love to work out some kind of publishing release of this small work (finally giving pataphysics a manifesto! and/or at least a suggestion of one) with the Studios. Please contact. I am presently publishing all my fiction through Smashwords.com and could of course theoretically also publish this that way

I have nothing to say so I will say it whatever it is and as the Lear Dude said, “Nothing can come of nothing: speak again.” So clearly I will have to say nothing again and again but if I had to say something I would happily say what is that thing the some refers to if it refers to anything at all but I digress because I know how important it is to get my statement across the gad zillions of electrons that it takes to compose this non commentary as I send my message to all the doctors who if they knew my symptoms could use their in-expertise to prescribe the potions and/or notions that would set me crooked on the no path that leads nowhere which is the no place that I impersonally have not been striving for all my death so I could be re and pre born at last and at first. Is this the science of imaginary comments?
